Laos Visa Procedures: Requirements, Steps & Checklists

01 · Tourist visa: eVisa and visa on arrival
The desk prepares the eVisa packet and gives visa-on-arrival guidance by nationality. Bring a passport scan with at least six months of validity remaining, a photo, entry and exit dates, and the address in Laos.

02 · Tourist extension
Assisted extension filing. Standard assisted fee about USD 90. The desk needs the passport, current stamp, and remaining stay dates before the packet is prepared.
03 · Invitation letter
Prepared in about five working days once the document set is complete. Used where the entry route asks for a host letter.
04 · LA-B2 labour support
One-year labour route. Scope depends on the employer file. Contact the desk for a quote. Do not send original permits by untracked post.
05 · Work permit and stay permit
Related filings, sequenced after the invitation and employer papers. The counter lists missing items before the packet leaves the desk.
